About
John and Kelsey Leonard are a couple who share a deep bond and commitment to one another. Their relationship is built on mutual respect and understanding, which allows them to navigate life's challenges together. Through both joyful moments and difficult times, John and Kelsey continue to support each other, strengthening their partnership along the way.
It all started when…
John has been skillfully doing hair since the year 2015. He is a licensed Barber and Cosmetologist, which allows him to showcase his diverse skills in the beauty industry. His passion for haircutting was founded at Bates Technical College, where he took the initiative to offer free haircuts to the homeless community as a way to learn and hone his craft.
John's specialty lies in highly detailed barbering haircuts that cater to individual styles and preferences. He is well-known for performing a mean straight razor shave that will leave you feeling incredibly smooth and refreshed. Additionally, he can expertly tame your beard and shape it meticulously to help it look its absolute best.
Kelsey has been doing hair professionally since 2015. From the very beginning, it was easy to see right away that her true passion lies in the world of color. She loves working with vibrant, eye-catching colors that can truly transform a look, but she also enjoys utilizing natural hues to bring life, dimension, and depth to all types of hair.
Kelsey’s specialty really shines when it comes to curly hair, long hair and stylish razor cuts. She creates stunning looks that consistently make an impression and do not require styling to look absolutely amazing. Wash and go is the goal!
John and Kelsey were married in May of 2013 on the very ship where their love story began—the Coast Guard Cutter Ida Lewis, which is stationed in Rhode Island.
Kelsey served proudly as a Food Service Specialist for approximately four years, while John served as a Boatswain's Mate for a commendable eight years.
Following their time in the Coast Guard, the couple made a thoughtful decision to pursue a career that would allow them to continue working together, supporting each other as they ventured into new professional endeavors.
